Indri Indri of Andasibe — The Forest’s Voice
Andasibe, Madagascar
After a long trek through the dense rainforest of Andasibe, Madagascar,
a deep, haunting call echoes through the trees — almost like the song of whales.
My guide whispers that it is the Indri Indri, announcing our presence in its kingdom.
Hidden among the thick foliage, the world’s largest lemur appears,
calmly perched on a mossy log, its gaze unshaken.
Its call, forever intertwined in my memory with the ocean’s songs,
will remain a rare symphony —
an echo of nature’s purest voice.
